Lemon, tomatoes, cucumber, potatoes, oils, flours and many more. Kitchen is the place for beautiful skin. From eating food for flawless skin to using ingredients for face masks. Everything is there. You just need to pay attention and find things that suits you.
Technically you should use only those things on skin which you can eat. Sounds great. But it seems difficult.Making a potato face pack from scratch.You don’t have time always for these things.But it is worth the hustle.You will see the results if you start using kitchen ingredients for your skin care regimen.

Our skin is of different types.It is categorized into different classification.Normal,dry oily,sensitive,combination. Normal skin is easy to manage and care. Most of the young people have normal skin. With the time it changes. There are five classifications of skin types.
Different type of skins require different care. And it is important too. If you will not choose right product , it will do more harm.
This one is very much prone to wrinkles.It should be taken care for. Also when winter approaches, skin starts to feel dry. Foods treat skin inside out. It may not be a quick fix. But helps in , long term. Food provides nutrition as it moisturizes skin from inside.

Cleaning steps for dry skin
- Cleaning : Clean your skin with olive oil. There are lot of ways to clean skin with oils. But it is better to stay basic. Apply little oil on skin, and wipe it with damp wash cloth. It works if you are a busy person. It will not take long time.
- Face mask: Honey is a very good moisturizer. Apply it to your face .Wash with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. Honey moisturize the dry skin and make it soft. It helps in retaining hydration.
- Moisturize: Moisturize your face any good moisturizer. Try to look for ingredients such as urea, hyaluronic acid, alphahydroxy acids, salicyclic acid, ceramides, glycerine.
Oily skin is prone to acne, blackheads , whiteheads and enlarged pores. But it doesn’t get that bad with age. Sometimes it is difficult to manage oily skin. It is caused by more secretion of sebum from sebaceous glands. Try to manage it with foods you eat.

Caring routine for oily skin
cleaning the oily skin: Clean it with mixture of lemon water and rose water and glycerine. ( Be mindful of any reactions or tingling). Mix them in equal proportions. Make everyday fresh. It will really help you. Or you can use any good oil free gentle soap or face wash.
Face mask : Cut a cucumber and rub gently on your skin. Leave i for 10 minutes. And wash it with lukewarm water.It helps in removing oil from skin.
Moisturizing : For moisturizing either you can make it yourself. Take one teaspoon of aloe vera gel, one teaspoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil. Mix them properly. Apply to your face. Either leave it overnight or wipe it with damp wash cloth after one hour. Or you can use a gentle non greasy moisturizer.
This is the best type of skin.It is blemish free and without wrinkles. Most of the young people have this kind of skin. We all want normal skin right. But it changes with the age. Caring for normal skin is easy. But it should be cared for.

Cleanser : Clean it with either olive oil or almond oil. Put few drops of olive oil on cotton ball and rub on your face.Then wash with lukewarm water.
Face Mask: Use any face mask. Like honey and banana face mask. Clay face mask. Use anything that suits you.
Moisturizer: Moisturize your skin with dab of coconut oil.

Avoid foods that trigger problems . Common foods that are considered to be hard to digest are dairy products, soy, eggs, gluten containing foods.
This is most difficult to manage. If you have sensitive skin, stay away from changing your beauty care options often. Consult dermatologist on any reaction. Don’t ignore any changes in skin.
Caring for sensitive skin
Cleanser: choose any natural cleanser. Or clean with lukewarm water. Use olive oil to remove any makeup. Try to use make up as less as possible. But be mindful of what works best for you.
Face Mask: Honey is best for sensitive skin.
Moisturizer: Moisturize with coconut oil or shea butter.
Look for beauty secrets in your pantry. It is all there. I have very dry and sensitive skin. I have to be very mindful about what I use on my skin. Lesson learned is less chemicals and more natural things.
People having this skin type have oily type T zone and other dry areas. You have to use a combination of different products for this. Care as oily skin for oily parts and as other skin type at other parts. First you have to make sure what type of skin type you have.
