It is not about thinking positive in spite of bad times, it is acknowledging the blessings which you have in your life. Think about it, you will find a lot. Whenever I feel low, I always try to lift my mood by thinking of my daughter as the biggest blessing. My parents and my brother who have always loved me unconditionally.
I feel grateful for the beautiful house I live in. There are numerous ways to pay gratitude and thanks almighty for blessing us for everything.

Effects of exercise are not only physical but psychological too. Physical activity also helps in positive feeling and having a positive outlook always gives you a boost in your mood.
5. Eat a healthy breakfast
Never miss a nutritious breakfast. Your energy levels in a day depend on how good your breakfast was.
Breakfast is the most important meal which you should never miss. But being short on time, people don’t have time to eat breakfast in the morning. After dinner, your body has many hours to give rest to your digestive system. Also, there is lot of gap between brealfast and dinner. Your metabolism will be better if you have breakfast.
Have you ever felt like eating anything when you are hungry? To avoid this, go for a big healthy breakfast.
6. Calming your mind from chatter
Have you ever paid attention to the chatter you have in your head? If you listen to this chatter, you will be surprised to learn how much you talk with your own self. And most of the time it is something negative or about getting angry on very small things.
Quite that chatter and you will know how much stress you have relieved. It will boost your overall mood and help in creating a healthy mental environment. Meditation and mindfulness can help you a lot on this. When you become aware of what you are thinking and the effects of these thoughts, you will definitely want to divert your thoughts.
Believe me, giving yourself a break from daily chatter can boost your overall happiness.
7. Practice daily affirmations
This one is pure gold. If you can practice it daily, it will do wonders for your overall sense of wellbeing. It is a simple but effective ritual which has helped me a lot. I am anxiety-prone and get disturbed on very small things, saying positive affirmations helps me a lot in taking control of the situation.
I always start feeling energised and I get a mood boost instantly. Why not make it a daily habit?
8. Finding purpose in everything
If you really want to be happy and be content, find purpose in simple chores you do daily. I have started feeling happy about all the household chores. I feel better and happy about all the chores I do. Washing dishes is no more a dreaded task for me.
I listen to the sound of water and the enjoy that sound. Water falling on my hands give me happiness. I was not like this earlier but changing the thoughts about how I feel about daily chores gave a boost to my mood.
Doing dishes on time, drying them in keeping them at the place, keep my kitchen area clean and organised.

Yes, let the positivity flow in your life. Stop being negative. Whenever you will feel negative about anything, replace that feeling with something positive. Positivity is the feeling which we have to bring into life. Feeling positive about everything in life makes life more beautiful.
Little changes daily in lives makes life better.
10. Start a gratitude journal
A gratitude journal lets you believe in the blessings you have. Make a daily habit of writing a gratitude journal every morning for 5 minutes. Gradually your mind will shift from scarcity towards abundance. You will start a feeling of abundant blessings you have in life rather than concentrating on what you don’t have.
This shift in mindset will make you believe that you are a genius with so many blessings and things you can do to live a successful life. You will be more inclined to concentrate on what you have rather than what you don’t have.
11. Let go negative things
Negativity comes from many things. Relationships, memories, situations or from the thoughts of the past. And it is normal to have negative thoughts because it is not possible to be positive always. But at the same time, you should learn to let go negative thoughts and the situations which brings negativity. If you feel stuck, go to a therapist or talk to someone who can listen to your problem without being judgemental.
Sometimes a disturbing past makes it difficult to move on and your thoughts seem to get stuck at one point. What I do for such kind of situations is give myself a day or some time to think about it and be unhappy. This way you don’t remain unhappy for always.
I use blocking the time for grief period. I can understand every situation is different but you need to work on it. Because this life is not for being unhappy and spend your time thinking about negative things.
12. Establish a routine
This one is so important because when you have routines, you don’t have to think about the things to be done. Your mind is free to do other important tasks. It is a simple mood booster when you are in a hurry or have very little time.
Write down how you want your morning and evening routines. This way you will be able to accomplish more.
